How can I roll back opera and lockdown

It is a long time since I have done this but since my last upgrade Opera has become flaky, So in order to keep using it I need to roll it back to a previous version and lock down the upgrade.
Is there a published procedure for this or do I have to lock the folders and rename the exe files etc?

@OperaGONE-0 All you need to do is prevent the background updater from running, such as by deleting it (after installing the old version of course),
I'm presuming Windows ... download the older version here but don't run it yet. You'll need to uninstall the new version (using Windows Settings > Apps > Installed Apps) before you can install an older version, and if it asks keep your user data. Then find the installer you downloaded and run it. Immediately close Opera, go to the Windows Task Manager and kill the Opera updater process if it is running, then use File Manager to go to Opera's install directory and delete the updater.

@sgunhouse It turns out that I have the last version of Opera that I am allowed to have. I have several disability tools that I can't get for later operating systems.
So it seems that Opera / Lastpass are no longer compatible. Lastpass blame Opera and I suspect that Opera will blame Lastpass if they deign to answer.
I have not had any errors saying it is not supported, I have uninstalled and re-installed.
I am not sure if there is a way to further rollback Lastpass, I think it installs the latest version it can work with Version 4.133.0 rather than Version 4.4.
