Very long extension moderation process

Hello! We sent our new extension to be submitted for verification on 29 August 2023. Since then, we have written several times to the moderator and have not received any response as to why our extension is taking so long to validate. It's been 5 months now and our extension is still in moderation.

Please check extension ID: nmddkoaaaikcfhjoflmdngeiojoekmfio ASAP.

We are published in Chrome, Edge and Firefox and have never encountered such a long validation.

I made a simple browser extension and submitted for moderation more than two weeks ago, no moderation result.
Maybe someone has faced the problem of long moderation and is there a solution to this problem?

I've been working on making the add on available on Opera, but we're facing delay in getting the extension reviewed. The extension was submitted on 20th February.

Its important for us to get the extension published on this platform as well.

I have submitted an addon to Opera last June. The addon is still waiting for 'moderation'. Attempts to message the moderators in the addon dash have been ignored.

What is going on? What can I do?

@1vpn As long as your Chrome version works fine in Opera, it's kind of expected that Opera users just use it (unless your Opera version is a sidebar extension that only Opera supports). For example, at https://1vpn.org/, it's expected that you have a single download for Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Chromium, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi and Opera etc.) and a download for Firefox.

Does your Chrome version work in Opera or did you have to create a specific version just for Opera with workarounds just for Opera?

@burnout426 Hmm I don't think that's whats expected. Its actually pretty uncommon in my experience.

Its just strange considering there are many other VPN extensions on the Opera webstore...

In fact is you scroll up you can see 'Planet VPN' having the same issue but they are now on the store.

Could you take a look at flidjemkebpjaimclflbdahombckplnj? It's been long-lived in the Opera store, and now the new, completely rethought version is under moderation. However, there has been no action on it for over 12 days.

My last approved version was in January 2023, since then I added 18 more versions but NONE were moderated anymore. What is happening? Can someone please review it? It's getting out of sync / probably stop working unless it's updated ASAP.

Hi, I submitted an extension by name of WAPDA Bill - WAPDA Bill Online Check on 13 July, it's been almost 2 weeks and I haven't received any update on it

Is there anyone who can we reach out to raise this? Why does Opera has this kind of support?
