<![CDATA[Very long extension moderation process]]>I just want to post my opinion about very long moderation process for extensions.

I submitted GNOME Shell integration extension for moderation one week ago and it's still in "Awaiting moderation" state.

To compare, same process (as I think - automated) in Chrome Store takes several minutes and in Mozilla addons - several seconds.

In 2 weeks I plan to release new version of extension.
Will moderation process of new extension version takes a week+?

Only Opera addon store even didnt start reviewing addon after 1 month of request.
My Twitch Follows Viewer already published on other stores, but not here.
I even asked to send me github account to share source code (repo private and code written with ReactJS). And still no answer in Conversation... So sad...

Our Power Thesaurus extension (id: khnhmicaajonghkdddhmenfepolbkimn) has been stuck in Awaiting moderation for over a year. Version v4.2.xx was submitted multiple times in 2024 with no progress.

We have now submitted v4.3.1 and are awaiting moderation. We hope this update can finally be reviewed so Opera users can receive the current extension features already available to the users of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

As reported to your support team, it seems there is a bug in your Submit button.

Please update your browser to be able to answer this issue. The issue was created 9 years ago and developers are still waiting for the solution. I'm sure you explained what is happening, but somehow your message is invisible.

Developers here would be happy to fix this issue by creating an add-on, so you could review faster by using it.

One more note: If my grandchild reads this in 2095, be patient my child β€” my app will be published soon. After the FastReview add-on is approved.

Waiting nearly 8 months for a moderator. Google only takes a day or two for approvals, but not the case with Opera even if the extension code is nearly identical to the Chrome version.
