@burnout426: Thanks, but this should work in the default browser as before without these crutches

New bookmarks are placed at the end of the list. Who can be comfortable with this?

Todays browsers are all more or less resource devourer, especially the memory usage.
I use the extensions Sloth and Tiny Suspender ... they seem to work very well for this purpose.

Since updates starting from "Opera 85.0.4341.47" until "Opera 87.0.4390.25" opera browser installed but never could open.
It showed a warning saying I have not administrator rights, which I have.
I wrote the issue in Opera 86 Stable - Opera Forums:
https://forums.opera.com/topic/55318/opera-86-stable/9
but did not have a fix recomendation. So I revert back to Opera 85.0.4341.18 because it opens and works without asking administrartor rights.
Finally I decided to try Opera GX to see if it was going to show the same warning saying I have not administrartor rights.
No, there was not any warning, and Opera GX opens and works.

@dnzrzx34: Yes, you've got a point but let's not forget the fact that they keep filling them with more and more features (not necessarily useful).
Right now I have 16 backround tasks running and about 500MB memory usage with just one tab open, without using any extension and most of the "extra features" disabled.
Anyway, this "thing" with speed dial opening delay (which started from 86...50) does exist and even got worse. Before 86 it was loading almost instantly.
They definitely need to check it out and fix it. -

DNA-99391 Add bookmarks at the bottom of a bookmarks bar folder
revert it or give users a choice, moving every new bookmark to the top is annoying

Then you should be happy as that fix changes it back to adding to the bottom.

@burnout426: that must have been a long time ago, my oldest bookmarks are about 3 years old and i want them to be sorted in one way

@vivi3107 What I meant was:
Before Opera 84, all methods of adding a bookmark would insert at the top except for one exception. Dragging and dropping a tab or its URL to a bookmarks bar folder would do the opposite and insert at the bottom. Everyone was fine with this. Some users coming from other browsers didn't like Opera inserting at the top, but they got used to it.
Then, in Opera 84, that drag and drop exception was removed so that it was consistent with all other methods.
Now in 87, all methods including the drag and drop method insert at the bottom. This satisfies users that were mad about the change in 84 that took away their drag and drop exception, but it also angers most users of all other methods of bookmarking that are used to Opera inserting at the top like it has always done.
