Opera needs a better history manager (cleaner) in order to properly filter, select, and delete big number of entries.
Use case
My History storage file has 35 MB and stores data for around 10 years. With the current Opera features I simply cannot manage my browsing history properly. In other browsers such issue doesn't exist. At least selective multi-select option is needed. You can inspire from Vivaldi for a better history manager. -

I think it should also have more predefined periods for quick search, not only 'yesterday' and 'older'.
For example: 'today', 'yesterday', 'last week', 'last month', 'last year'
(if there's no history, the corresponding periods should be grayed out)
And also asc/desc sorting option. -

Used BrowsingHistoryView by Nirsoft.
Sorted the accessible history of Opera in many ways (by URL, title, visit time, etc.). By this way I've deleted around 2000 items from history, including a lot of unneeded duplicated URLs.
It's somehow weird (and maybe shame) that I have to use a third-party tool, and Opera's built-in history manager does not let users do the same and is highly limited in managing properly your history. -
