I noticed that VPN has disappered... I can't find the option to turn it on anywhere...
It was very useful since the Internet in Russia is so censored right now... Now I have to use a different service to circumvent the censorship...

@eliotcougar As already said, several VPNs, including Opera's, started being blocked in Russia.

@leocg It is not blocked... Opera VPN still works fine if you install an older version of Opera... I think something broke it in one of the recent Beta updates... Maybe it's available in the Release?..

I'm having a problem with beta and stable builds on Wayland session of
                Gnome 40.2.0 on Arch Linux.

                Steps to reproduce:

                1. open a scrollable webpage (this blog post, for example)
                2. play a youtube video in another Opera window
                3. while Opera plays the youtube video, scroll the webpage loaded in the step 1.
Wait 5 seconds and scroll again, waiting 5 seconds and scroll again, and so on.

                Result: scrolling is choppy

Can anyone confirm this annoying problem? It exists for several months now.

                  Hi,

you can try to deactivate QUIC protocol in your browser.
For example in Opera browser type opera://flags/, search for quic and deactivate it.

                  Or

if you use a security software, for example Avast, with a QUIC-security-component try to disable it.

Thank you for your help. I have disabled QUIC protocol in Opera but the problem perists. I have noticed that Chromium 91.0.4472.164 installed on the same sustem is also affected.
