@leocg From time to time, I've been trying to find some "known answers" since around 2010, and giving up after 20-30mins because what I saw in google results was either not what I needed, or already legacy, or no info at all as if Google banned these forums, or the world pretended my bugs and glitches were my own fault, or they were not bugs but features.
I hate you. Just for you to know. I hate the way Opera deals with info about itself.

The only thing I hate more than this is: when I move my mouse to where a button I use every day should be - and there I find some incredible shit instead of this button.

@greyreth When a google search result leads you to a forum, it may be better to use the forum search and even take a look in a few of its pages to find out what you want.

You can also use Google to search inside a specific site.

@leocg , as a moderator do you have any direct line to opera HQ? It would be great to know that at least the frustration is being reported back in some way in the hopes it affects some change.
I realise it's not your fault that users are upset by the change (and I am one of them), but the reason google searches are leading people (again, including me) here is because they are directly trying to find out why their favourite feature is being replaced by something no-one has ever wanted or asked for!

@chuck990 As already said, people from Opera read these forums, so, yes, they know about the complaints from the users and, maybe because of that, already implemented a way to see recently closed tabs in Opera 71, currently in beta stage.

Those who want to have the tabs menu back or more recently closed tabs listed in the search in Tabs can ask for it in the proper section of the forum.
