It would be great to know that at least the frustration is being reported back in some way in the hopes it affects some change.
I realise it's not your fault that users are upset by the change (and I am one of them), but the reason google searches are leading people (again, including me) here is because they are directly trying to find out why their favourite feature is being replaced by something no-one has ever wanted or asked for!

You can also use Google to search inside a specific site.

I hate you. Just for you to know. I hate the way Opera deals with info about itself.

The only thing I hate more than this is: when I move my mouse to where a button I use every day should be - and there I find some incredible shit instead of this button.

One of the main points of having a forum is exactly to avoid that the same questions keep being asked all the time and getting the same known answers, as well as the same issues being reported several times and being solved by the same solutions.

In general, this new functionality is not entirely clear. Why was it not possible to add this function with search without touching what was? People used this very actively. And you decided to "improve". This is the case when the best is the enemy of the good. And this topic arose - for a reason.
