maybe not from this update, but I just noticed the button to view a list of "recently closed tabs" (not quite sure its name but its icon is an up-side-down triangle) is gone. is there a way to bring it back? I work on several devices and it's very convenient to retrieve tabs opened on another computer. I know it's available in the sidebar, but I don't like to have the sidebar always displayed.

Updated just on Mac. Opera has logged out of all accounts on all sites. Nice.

New build - Opera stable 68.0.3618.125
;-)
Looks like a silent one, since there's no change log for this version for now. -

Getting a "Your connection to this site is not secure" error for multiple sites. Tried Chrome and do net have this problem.

@chawoobie: Same here. Well just for Outlook.com now. Checking my mail like normal and then after a couple of seconds the page changes to that 'your connect...not secure' stuff.

@vegelund: This happens not only with opened folder, but also with other opened/expanded such things like: News, search box's expanded suggestions list, suggestions on start page.
Or if start page was scrolled down, new tab shows the previous position shortly. -

@andrew84 It looks like this happens if the
opera://flags/#shared-start-page
flag is enabled. If this flag is disabled, there is no such effect. -

@johnd78 Yes. They added it to exclude the flasbangs while creating new tabs.
But since 68 I'm experiencing enough flashbangs (not refering to this flag) on browser start and inside the UI. Even 58 version works much more smoother and browser starting is 2x times faster (taking into account that in 58 I have very old profile and 68, 69 have almost clean profiles) -

True, but then you get a black frame instead, lasting the same time.
Default setting for flag is Enabled.
I assume this lag/behavior is a bug.

@vegelund most probably you have some dark wallpaper enabled (or wallpaper turned off in dark mode). This frame's color (with disabled flag) will vary depending on the main color of wallpaper/background (if you set some blue or green wallpaper, the frame or 'flashbang' will be blue or green), when creating new tabs
That's why the flag was implemented, to remove these flashbangs. But the solution using the 'shared' start page has some flaws, as it seems. -

Yes I know. But "the browser “remembers” and briefly flashes that folder" effect annoys me, so i disable this flag from the moment when it became enabled by default.

Agreed. It would be nice if someone from Opera gave feedback, and mention if it is in backlog.

Active inset(cursor) jump to random inset after"renew all insets" . Not stay at current inset
