Hi,
do you have the same issue as me from last few weeks/versions? I noticed that when I enter fullscreen mode i cannot close it. F11 button does not work.
The only solution is to close all cards, close all windows and then open Opera. That is very annoying bug.
I am using Linux Mint 19.1 Tessa, Opera Developer 66.0.3480.0 -

Thanks for a tip, but I also tried that, it does not work...
When I try to context menu or F11 button, the Opera's window is behaving strange, it blinks for a less than second and I can see it tries to change the size to normal, but then it again goes to fullscreen -

Os is Debian SidNo key combination, no menu, nothing works.

Try to:
- BackUp your Profile
- Look at current session and delete any related entry
- Rename the file if any

On Windows 10, in addition to the methods already mentioned, you can also leave the full screen mode by pressing the ESCAPE key.
Does this work for you?
(Opera 66.0.3480.0, installed in stand-alone/portable mode).

In the 66.0.3480.0 developer update thread, a user complains about the same problem, on Linux Mint 19.2.
I can't check if the proposed solution works, since I am on Windows.

You mean this one? When I do so, I still can't check whether the mentioned solution I linked to, and which refers to Linux, works on Linux.
As mentioned, I am on Windows. And for me switching to full screen mode and exit this mode works fine.

If you follow the help link, you will notice that some files are equal.
Current session is one of them.As mentioned, I am on Windows. And for me switching to full screen mode and exit this mode works fine.
Ok.

Hi,
I tried your solution, I deleted file CurrentSession, launched Opera again and exiting fullscreen still does not work.
I switched on full screen both ways: by pressing F11 button and from context-menu and for both ways exiting is not possible.@yanta
Hi,
thanks for the link to the thread. Unfortunately the solution provided by the intek13x does not work for me. -

I switched on full screen both ways: by pressing F11 button and from context-menu and for both ways exiting is not possible. You would try to look at ShortCuts.
If still, look at Preferences file, as per Current session and previous BackUp, for Window, Size, F11, Fullscreen...Look for Tomeko/JSONEdit.

Thanks, I will reply in that thread, it is better if more people report that issue.@zalex108
I looked at Preferences file but I didn't find anything that can be related to that problem. But maybe I don't know what should I look for...Shortcut is encrypted.
But many thanks for help. If you have any new idea for solution, do not hesitate to write it here, i will try it

It seems to work but this is the most awful, bad and horrific solution!
I had two windows with a lot of tabs and all are gone now.Worst solution of all time!
Additionally - I just updated to 66.0.3489.0 and the problem persists.
