Here's a summary of changes in the latest updates.

LVL 6 (core: 119.0.5497.68 and .78) – 2025-06-05

New

• You can provide names for tab islands and pick colors (testable in Early Bird).

Improved

• More improvements in Profiles, including visuals, onboarding process and messages. When running GX profile its name is shown in opera:about. New Profiles are testable in Early Bird.
• Tab island handle interactive area is expanded to make it easier to click on it (Early Bird).
• Adjusted context menu coloring to make it more readable.
• Adjusted top level UI coloring to make it both readable and more enjoyable in dark environments.

Fixed

• Important security fixes as well crash fixes and visual improvements.

LVL 6 (core: 119.0.5497.62) – 2025-06-02

• There was a certain crash we wanted to fix.

LVL 6 (core: 119.0.5497.58) – 2025-05-29

New

• Revamped Profiles are ready for testing in Early Bird also for macOS users. Profiles are now accessible in settings as well as the main menu.

• Bunch of fixes for crashes that we spotted recently.

• Chromium updated to version 134; browser core updated to version 119.

• Tab tooltips are much quicker now
