What notifications would YouTube be sending? Most of us aren't subscribed to anything - and if we were, personally I'd expect them by email.

Web notifications are more convenient in this case. In order not to litter the mail.

And one more moment ... When I click on the notification of a new video, it opens in a new tab. This is much more convenient email notifications.

They do but, you know, it's not just a matter of pressing a button to solve a problem. Also, they probably have more important bugs to work on.

Opera team please pay attention to web notifications, which unfortunately do not work as desired. Web notification is very convenient, an advanced feature, I do not have enough of it to get the maximum pleasure from using the Opera browser.

I think the problem may be with Youtube itself and not Opera. I do have a few subscriptions and I don't always get notified for new subscription videos from YT's app.

@slytheringirl The problem is in the Opera not in YouTube. In other browsers, everything is OK. And the problem concerns not only the YouTube site, but notifications in General.
