Can you actually save bookmarks (with sync disabled)? One obvious reason your history would be disappearing is if your profile were locked, but in that case you couldn't save bookmarks either.

i use iobit Advanced System Care Ultimate 11
but i don't that it is the problem

check those setings

in all options unchek opera

browser anti-tracking uncheck opera .

Privacy cleaning uncheck opera

automatic maintenance

-- uncheck all

automatic cleaning .. Uncheck all opera

try this .. and please see if Ccleaner is installed on your pc too

well... if you really unchecked all those i say...

try to view if your browser have some extension to erase when exit
like History Eraser from Magic Actions for youtube

Check if you have system optimizers or cleaners similar to advanced system care, ccleaner, Glary Utilities, avg tune up..... installed on your pc.

and see if your cookies is marked to like this...

i can't disable it completely,it doesn't give that that option and even with the task manger it won't close for security measures.

The "History lists" checkbook is for Windows (file dialogs, Explorer, stuff like that). It shouldn't effect Opera (other than the file dialogs of course).

Here is a couple scrpts i wrote to Backup your Opera Portable Completely
Copy and paste it to notepad. Save as - Opera Portable Backup.bat - Or the name you wanna.. Save it on desktop for easy access.. 1st one :

xcopy "C:\zz (x86)\Apps\Browsers\Opera" C:\TEMP\Opera_Portable_Backup\Opera /E /I /R /K /Y

rem: xcopy "C:\Source" C:\Destination /E /I /R /K /Y

Here is second one to Restore your Opera Portable Completely.. Copy and paste it to notepad. Save as - Opera Portable Restore.bat

• Logout from Sync on all devices
• Backup your data
• Reset your synced data
• Login again, one device at a time.
