I would personally enjoy having a more rapid experience for "review post" period. I just recently posted two replies (over an hour ago) and none of my posts are published. I even refreshed the page, nothing. Deleted all history, and restarted opera and logged back into forums.opera.com..and still nothing. I am hoping the processing time it takes from clicking "post" to actually seeing the post publish is more speedy with the new forum. That would be a major improvement.
thanks...looking forward.

edit: it reads "queued for review"...I understand the need to filter unwanted or undesirable content, based on rules, but there is nothing within any of my posts that would be offensive or out of bounds. I am hoping the new forum will shorten the delay time.

Hi,
this queue applies only to users that have never posted anything to Opera Forums. Such fist-time posts require a manual review and approval by a Moderator or Opera Staff member. You don't have to do anything on your part - once it is approved it will show up wherever you posted it.While I understand that you would like to see your reply right away, please bear in mind that Moderators are volunteers and enthusiast just like you and are not compensated for their effort - therefore they need to work a regular day job Opera Staff members on the other hand have a lot of other responsibilities and cannot be present on the Forums 24x7.
As a result the review process can take up to 24 hours (rough estimate) but of course we do our best to make it shorter. Again this only applies to the situation where you have never posted as a measure to fight spam and unwanted content. Your next posts will show up immediately. -

Found via https://github.com/NodeBB/NodeBB/issues/5440 that each tag has its own RSS feed. Sweet!
https://forums.opera.com/tags/tagname.rss
Names with spaces would of course have %20 for the spaces.

I'm finding "Use outgoing links warning page" being turned on to be annoying. Every time I left-click a link to another site, I get that warning page and then have to manually approve the redirection. It's like having automatic redirection turned off in Opera 12.
There doesn't seem to be an option to override the default on a per-user basis.

I've enabled "Open links in another tab" and there is no warning.
Advice about this option on the warning may help¿?

Suggestions:
- Dark / night theme.
-- - More grouped emojis.
- Custom tab to add user's selection.
- As Mobile's OS, "recently used" emojis tab.
-- - Desktop notifications.

Thanks. That may be a workaround.

I wonder if that's a bug or a feature @julianlam ?

@zalex108
Dark theme is underway.
Desktop notifications are possible as there is a NodeBB plugin for that already.
As for the rest - we would have to investigate.Thanks.

@zalex108 Templates - there's a plugin for that. I even considered adding it for the initial release, but decided not to overwhelm users with functionalities.
As for drafts, not sure what you need exactly. You can interrupt writing a post and navigate away from Forums, when you come back you will be able to continue with the same post. You can also "minimize" the composer by clicking the icon in the bottom-right corner. Is there some use-case that is not covered by current functionality?

I've used to use "save draft" button, and didn't found it.
Ok, being like this I'll check it.If plugins could be enabled for groups, at least could help Moderators.
The rest will wait.Thanks.

Bug, definitely reportable
We're looking into improving UX by showing a unobtrusive "Draft saved" whenever a draft is... you know, saved. But yes, it is all done behind the scenes at the moment.

I see the new email notification template is active. It looks a lot better.
I don't know if it's considered finished yet, but it'd still be nice to have the link to the post at the very top of the message. If not the very top, maybe at least make the word "reply" or "posted a reply" be a link to the post. Or, if https://forums.opera.com/assets/images/emails/header.png was an image instead of a background, make the image be a link to the post.
For example, for RSS feeds in Thunderbird, there's a "Website": header displayed as the last header in the header toolbar, which makes the link to the article appear right above the message. It's so awesome that way. There's no standard, supported way to do that with a regular email, but having the post link be at the top of the body would be great. Opera M2 didn't do this for RSS feeds, which is why SmartRSS added it, and it's super nice.
