@leocg Thanks for your help. My passwords are re-synced. I'm not sure how they got lost from my laptop, but if they're in 2 places now I feel safe enough to carry on with Opera!
till yesterday I encounter the same problem. Opera freezes after around 30 seconds. First I thought there was a problem with youtube, but also typing a string into Google Search freezes Opera completely. I have to kill it via task manager. Before Opera was working fine for years without problems.
OS Win 11 build 26100.2894
Opera build 116.0.5366.71
Again - I don't think it's a matter of passwords not saved because when I add them in, and push Save, then check them on various websites, they seem to autofill as they should.
It's just that I don't SEE them in Password Manager.
burnout426's link to the MacOS-only issue looks promising. I'll follow it when I have time a little later.
@howbizarre, @mbedni , @ivanmca , I have the same problem in Opera for Windows (not reproducible in Opera for Mac). Reproducible stable, each time after relogin DevTools overlaps my page and window.innerWidth is incorrect as there are no DevTools. It reproduces for Left, Right and Bottom positiones of DevTools. Only when I resize the window manually it recalculates width correctly with according to DevTools width. I tried resizing programatically but it didn't help
Update: I'm trying GX and it has the same problem, at least with the mini-player vanishing. Not totally sure about the narrowness problem since I'll have to try it for a while to see if it happens on GX.
@leocg Opera One 115.
I myself use sel-none to prevent copying, but links on nature.com should work, and in other browsers I could copy text from the pages that Opera could not.
@leocg You should use the sq database to open the "history" file, which records your downloads or history and preferences. Normally, my "history" file is 9MB, but now it is only 190KB (which means it deleted the "history" file, thus creating a new "history," and the data stored in the file is gone). The browser automatically deletes the history without deleting information other than the history.
(This has happened before, but it has never happened with other browsers on my computer, including Chrome and Edge.)
