Sorry to necro the thread
Just like to add my desire to have the option to change the sidebar to the right. Even though I'm right-handed, I like keeping my working docs on the left of my desktop. Which means if I want to drag anything to upload onto my browser (google drive, dropbox, etc) I will usually drag over the side bar and open whatsapp/discord/instagram or whatever, and thus covering the place I'm dragging to. Pretty annoying! Overall very impressed and love GX!

@leocg it could run for about 5 seconds, then close.
as soon as i press ctrl+shift+i it refreshes the page

@keironevans Export your passwords in Chrome. Then go to opera://settings/passwords and import them. If you can';t see the import option, enable opera://flags/#password-import

@pedrinho Usually I use Opera Developer, but I've tested on Opera GX. I opened Twitter main page and it loaded without issues. I didn't login.

Looking through these search results might help:

On this page, it implies that the problem isn't with http and https protocol association, but with the .html file extensions association. I would try to go in Default Apps in Windows and set the .html extension to open in Opera. If it already is, I'd try to set it to Edge or something and then back to Opera.

I have some registry things you can check. I'll post later.

@outdoorbasketballshop I guess this behavior happen when suddenly opera closed (or laptop shutdown) with YouTube page on it, then when opera opened again, the same YouTube page play without sound until you open the YouTube page in a new tab.

@leocg I think you do not get the point with the virus spoofing the addressbar to make it look legit but it's fine tho all good.
