Please fix this issue, I love the Opera browser but this is making this much harder for me! I think it should be an easy fix and not too hard to solve for the developers since every other browser has this.
[Request] Unlock Lightness in dark mode theme settings.

I should have referred to troubleshooting 101 for computers: If a program is having a problem from installation, try re-installing it.

So, problem solved. I reinstalled Opera GX and whatever was going on before is not happening now.

Go figure.
