@sgunhouse Yes I did a single-user install. But the problem solved itself after I checked a few older forum posts about similar stuff with the normal Opera 52 I think. I read about some Software to clean your PC n stuff and tried that. After a restart from my PC I could just pick it as a default browser. Sorry, should've tried that before going to bed yesterday but I was too lazy. 😅
It is something from Chrpmium, not really anything Opera can do anything about. For years if a site had low security the browser would show you an open padlock but they didn't think enough people were noticing. So now they actually warn you, and in some cases won't let you proceed. If possible, contact the webmaster of the site and have them fix it.
@bossman90 yeah it is broken and it is messenger's fault because messenger had an update and its not that good as before, and the notification is broken the one where it will have a bubble on the top right when someone messages, and it's not that reliable now
I registered just to comment on this thread. I'd very much like Ecosia to be added. Either that, or allow us to set custom search engines as default. I tried editing the Opera GX files, but I got a .pak error (possibly checksum mismatch), so I had to revert my changes.
