@leocg oh sry for the late reply but I've already found a solution to my problem where I just download gifs I want to use and rename them as jpeg files by putting ".jpeg" at the end of the filename

once I've uploaded it the file plays normally with it having the same quality as the gif

@sparklexstar You'd need to talk to them - ask them why they are blocking Opera. Not that you couldn't use a user-agent switcher addon to convince them you were really using Chrome or Edge, but that only helps you and not other Opera users.

@pugothing search for download in settings page.

In the same place where you set up your download directory, you can check an option to always ask where to save the downloads.
