Yeah i've been facing the same issues, might have been an update or an extension or what ever but after a settings wipe and reinstallation it still didn't fix. Try doing those things and if they dont work pray opera fixes it.

I have absolutely the same problem. It seems to me that this is due to the restriction function of RAM\CPU, I think the developers need to look in this direction. For example, make programmatic ignoring RAM restrictions when closing the browser so that it can easily manipulate RAM at the time of closing the browser and preserving all spaces.

It's very awful problem, I really think about changing the browser because of this.

Try turning off Opera’s built-in VPN, ad blocker, or privacy shield temporarily, and make sure JavaScript and cookies are enabled. You can also try the same process in a private window or switch to another browser to see if the issue is Opera-specific.

@keddymono They should be enabled, disabling them will make both speed dial and the add a page button to show up.

So both Hide Speed Dial and Hide "Add a site" should be turned on for them to not be visible.
