  @wbhiginbotham If you're not using a VPN, the network provider can block anything they feel like. On the other hand, if they're going to block other stuff they'll probably block VPNs too. Walmart's wi-fi (where I work) is like that - they block all VPNs and also block any site with the words gun or rifle in the name. (Kind of strange to me, you can buy a rifle or shotgun at many Walmarts but can't look it up online to compare prices or check features.)

  @szczesliwy A VPN is meant to avoid censorship in the countries, areas and institutions where it is enforced. It's purpose is also to make you invisible on the web. If you're inclined by conscience to not to avail these provisions for which the VPN is used and meant for, then keeping the VPN by you makes no sense. My sincere advice is turn off the VPN altogether if it's usage is disagreeable to you.

  I remember using opera a few years back when smartphones had hit the market for the first time. I was using Sony Xperia Mini. It had an inbuilt (already installed) Opera browser app. I didn't use any other browser, though I was familiar with many other browsers. If I recall it correctly, it had a neatly organised user interface and I was completely happy with the experience.
  But, the shift happened when I started using the laptop and changed my phone. Laptops have Google chrome as a default browser, and smartphones running on android OS gives us chrome. I think the shift happened more like an external force. When people start using smartphones that run on android, they get used to the idea that chrome is a default browser. The majority of the users do not download or install any other browser, they will never go to that extend and they stick with what they have.

  right I was connected to malaysia through VPN but in YouTube they suggest me videos that are trending in Netherlands...then I change the country manually in YouTube.

  @sgunhouse hum, thanks for the info, still odd since i have adguard plugin for block ads and also the build in blocker of opera, so usually i dont see and neither click ads,
  but i can even warantee it in this case since i was looking for "ambigrams" and i openes several urls at same time from google, with the wheel button, meaning the 3 or 4 websites i did open were not even active view tabs, and then when i made them active to wich was the one i wanted, boom, i saw the opera landing page and JS file download.
  maybe those ads are using a bug from some websites that allow them to load inside the legit URL website, because the downloaded JS file came from the legit URL too. Thats my guess, i dont know,
  I even wrote a mail to the guy of the website, but got no response
