@divisionbe I must disagree with you on that one. The consent regarding email looks like this: There is NOTHING here that mentions or "grants permissions" for promotional mail. If you feel differently, please point us to the specific sentence that bothers you, please. Once again: Forums send two types of e-mails: Digest emails - these are Forum's "here's what happened on Opera Forums since last day/week/month" updates. We do not send them unless you opt-in. Here's how it looks like for a fresh account (Profile > Settings): Notification emails - these inform you about various events (people replying to your topics, sending you chat messages, mentions you, etc). Again, all opt-in: You need to intentionally set this to Email only or Notification and email if you wish to receive e-mails about these events.

Use a descriptive and relevant title for new threads. Try to use at least three words in the thread title. Be clear and concise when describing the problem. @johnonthecoast Just copy the content of the old profile directory to the new one. Except for passwords, everything else should work.

On the new Opera Mini, all it shows is All under the Sync. Nothing about any synced information. I wish that I could send you a SS so that you could see what I am talking about. I'm just very grateful that I backed everything up 5 days ago. Whew!!! Importing 180some odd open tabs in your full Opera Mobile version was starting to tick me off. It kept scrolling back to the very beginning of what Tabs that I had saved after I would open a page in background/foreground. I'm just glad that a cooler head prevailed and I thought Why not do Mini and see what happens? It kept me on my Saved Tabs page and I was able to click on at 15 or so pages and open into my new Mini browser before it kicked me to the beginning of my Saved Tabs Page in Sync. That bug in the full Opera Mobile really needs to be fixed. Thanks!! I am very glad that you have the Sync option available because it saved 6yrs worth of my information from Laptop to Web to Cell. I am very grateful that one of the versions worked right for me.

The images just kept coming. I must have clicked 30 times. I thought it was caught it a loop or I was doing something wrong. I refreshed the page ... well you know what that got me.

I will assume that you are talking about your Opera account. Did you delete your old account?

Here you should be able to create a new account. You may need to be logged off from the current one.

Does Opera recognize the .net domain when checking the validity of an email address? it should recognize any valid domain.

I think it's time to move on...
