Can you please try following steps:
sign into Opera If you see sign in option even after signed in like it is shown in first post, click on pad lock icon on top left corner of address bar and go to site settings Clear data for that site and close the active tab Try signing in again, hope this will allow to sign in.

First you must register and sync data with old_OS and go to new_OS and open opera browser:
Settings _ Browser _ Synchronization.

Which Device and Android version you are on? Are you having both Opera browser and its beta version? Also share their versions (you may find them under Opera O -> settings -> anout opera) Are you using sync feature? (Are you signed into opera) Do you also having Speed Dial added by you? what is happening to your speed dial?

@angerbullfrog I agree, it's like a fookin duracell bunny. Even if you Force Close, or cache wipe last apps, it comes back up loading Mb of old pages., and 'on start up' doesn't help.

Thanks for this update. I love that the full recently closed tabs menu has returned and that we can also access to it with a long press on the "+" icon of the tablet mode.
