@pietdummie Could you check the notification tray in your phone, i could see some notification are there. It seems like that there is some sites which are enabled to send notification using Opera. you may also check same by going to settings -- site settings -- Notifications. there you can see the sites which are allowed to send notification through Opera and these sites does not need to be open in any tabs in order to send you notification
The new scroller is very Bad, i want the old one back, or at least 2 of its features :

All? There are some countries that block the VPN (the desktop version will not even show the option in those countries). If you live in China or another country which blocks it, you will never see the option in Beta either.
I am using Opera on OS Linux and Windows where passwords are synchronize. But on android nothing. Now I must say "I was using" maybe in future i will return.
I'm not certain what exactly you want ... you want to convert your existing speed dials to bookmarks? Not impossible, though easier to do on a desktop (presuming Sync is working properly). That is to say, if you have Sync enabled then your Android speed dials show up within the bookmarks manager on your desktop system, making it fairly easy to transfer them to your regular bookmarks. Then Sync just has to copy everything back to your Android system and you're done. Not sure how you'd do it just on Android, short of visiting each site and adding it manually to bookmarks.
