Of course if you're rooted and have the right tools you could also edit favorites.db manually.

All that complexity required to achieve this simple thing is weird. What's the reasoning?

Remote DNS option in fags settings will improve overall connectivity using Max just being enabled. Tested with Firefox and proxy addons. Max product doesn't use http pipelining anyway.

i get server timeout often on OM but 2 things, one, the size of app isnt that huge and two, bookmark feature is best in its class

It may pass at reinstallation. You may try Android or any native browser for comparison, fonts should look the same.

I can confirm that google doing some user agent sniffing, they serve different content to opera compared to Chrome.
Opera has been in contact with them and their webteam has filed a bug. They are working on fixing it, but we are still waiting for some results. At the same time we are investigating if we can patch the site on our end, but its not trivial.

the classic version is the best. so why use other views?

I use different views depending on which device I am currently using, and the size of the screen it has. Take away any of those options and you take away choice.

Because choice is a good thing.
