Hard to say what's cooking, for some reason Opera is faster now but I've got some connectivity problems with Google servers so perhaps something is wrong on their side. Afaik data management doesn't depend on browsers.

LOL, it used to quit immediately without asking but if I recall correctly some people asked for Exit confirmation then it was implemented.

Hi @davem148,

If you sign into sync both on Opera for Android and Opera on your desktop you will be able to see your bookmarks in both browsers.

To sign into sync in Opera for Android go to settings and select sign in. On desktop there is a button in the top right (icon looks like a person) that you can click to sign in.

So if you use sync you don't have to mess with importing and exporting!

I followed rafaelluik's steps, but had to modify it slightly. This is what I did:

Install "Opera Mobile" v12.0.4 (ftp://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/android/mobile/1200/Android_Opera_Mobile_12_Opera.apk)

Open it and activate Opera Link and allow it to synchronize. I allowed 3-5 minutes to fetch the screen grabs.

Upgrade to "Opera Browser" in Play Store. Version 30.0.1856.93524 as of this post.

Open and verify all bookmarks are synchronized. Some folders were omitted in my first attempt.

Sign in to Opera (aka Opera Sync)
Can I incude Opera Browser(android) as preinstall app ....

Okay. I need to export bookmarks from this browser to my desktop. I don't know how to do that. I had already downloaded bookmark sb but I couldn't figure that one out.
Not showing me in the UK?

Nice.

I'm not sure Opera has control over this, as they already send your correct IP to the websites... Not sure how removing the Turbo server info would affect the service (sites could think Turbo traffic is coming from bots or hackers maybe). JFYI
Is desktop mode or view?

Perfect,thanks all! I only used and still use Opera on Linux for years. Its the best browser all around from plug-ins, RAM management, compatibility, customizations to performance and smoothness. Can't wait for it to improve and grow on Android (Linux based afterall).
