I've been searching for this and I think I've discovered that Opera used to have Delayed or 'Lazy' loading of background tabs, but the setting is no longer there since 3023. Is that right?

It was there in a long time ago but the option got removed. Not sure why. I don't think Opera ever gave an explanation. A change in Chromium probably broke it and it was too much to fix it. Not sure. It was removed way farther back than 2023 though.

Is there no way to keep tabs open at startup without auto-reloading?

I don't think there's any way to do it in Opera now. Not sure if there's a Chrome extension that can do it either.

Vivaldi has the option you're looking for though.

I second this, either allow to customize theme or allow to use Themes available on Chrome Web store. I use different versions of browsers for my different profiles - work, family, developer and personal. For this I use color mapping - like I use Chrome with a Green theme for my primary personal profile so that the moment I see Green top bar I know I am on my personal workspace. Opera would have been my first choice for browser had it allowed color themes, but since it doesn't at the moment I am using Microsoft Edge and Brave.

There are plenty of possibilities to explore, and these symbols could definitely help users quickly identify medical content or tasks within the workspaces.

@donaldzeigler In Opera Developer 107 there is an option to sync extensions listed in opera://settings/syncSetup, but it doesn't seem to working yet.

Note that Opera GX's CPU limiter is just a fancy way of setting the CPU affinity for its processes. You can manually do the same thing by right-clicking each Opera process on the "Details" tab in the Windows task manager and choosing "set affinity". This manual method will work for regular Opera too.

Also, see https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-to-permanently-set-priority-affinity-with/4e83fd39-34a7-49fe-a54a-ee891c38b737 for how to create/modify an Opera shortcut to automatically set affinity for Opera.

There might be something similar for macOS.

For RAM, there some alternatives at https://superuser.com/questions/1263090/is-it-possible-to-limit-the-memory-usage-of-a-particular-process-on-windows that might work for now.

@juanpc2018 im using 4K TV at 1080 FullHD Native resolution,
because text is hard to see at 4K without Scaling, and i dont like Overscaling 200% 300% on a weak machine 8GB Ram, integrated graphics, etc....

but probably 1080 played at 4K would be similar setting,
and 4k played at 4k, setting 4 could be too much, probably 3.

maybe a setting for each resollution is too much,
but in pairs, seem ok:
240 ... 360 | 480 .. 720 | 1080 .. 1440 | 2160 .. 4320

@leocg This feature is not available on Opera GX. As Opera GX already has so many great and innovative features, it would be a shame if this feature was not added to it as 'Opera One' already has this feature.
