Leocg thanks for the heads up on the alternative way. I do know about that method though and it is still convoluted and time consuming for me. You have to trawl through all your folders and subfolders to find the right one. Doing it the chrome way is easier because you can simply click on the folder and then bookmark by right clicking. Either in that folder or in a sub folder in that folder.
Bookmarking methodology, for me, is probably one of the biggest usability concerns in any browser.
Perhaps he should get a definitive answer. I'm not an expert in this area, but in the first post @gregorw wrote "this needs to be documented in your EULA and privacy policy." With needs, do you mean should or must by law? Because if it's in the last mentioned case, it is important.
it is actually one of the reasons for me to keep using the old versions which load very slowly on heavier sites compared to the new opera versions
and the plug-ins for this aren't very useful since they focus on the page being refreshed aside from doing it in the background, sorry for double posting but i can't edit
Yeah, now I clearly see what you mean. I haven't experienced that problem, so I have now idea why you get it. Your specs didn't seem to be bad, perhaps it's a problem with your graphic driver? Have you experienced problems in other applications and overall performance, or it is only Opera?
Everything works fine and this issue is just in Chromium-based browsers. Old Opera and Firefox work perfectly!
*update - Montenegrin language still exists in Opera 28, however, in order to be activated it's needed to re-install the Opera.
Also, you may change in settings the language from Montenegrin to e.g. English, however, you can't change from English to Montenegrin! The only way to change to Montenegrin is to re-install Opera again. Weird.
Not any more. Some of the older versions did. In the latest builds SD shows in Bookmarks so that you can copy entries from SD on one machine to SD on another - but you may not want all the same speed dials at both work and home, for instance.
They were not going anywhere with that old engine, it was so hard for them to keep up with the rest. 12 was and will always be my favorite and looking forward to see this one come close to that. It happens that I hate extensions too and want something that is built in, but don't think it is that easy. They do read this forum and working to bring old features. Get the latest Developer version.
They do not read this forum because if they do they will make Opera more like the old one. No thanks I dont want developer version becuase its the same as stable but with more bugs...
