Sorry, I did forget to mention the specs … here are my system details:
Opera Version: 65.0.3467.69
Update-Stream: Stable
Betriebssystem: Mac OS X 10.13.6 64-bit

Yes you're right, it does work already on my windows 10 machine … but not on the Mac.

Vivaldi has a setting for this in vivaldi://settings/appearance/. It's the "Menu icon style" setting. The choices are "Vivaldi icon" (where it just has a V icon with no text, but a tooltip that says "Menu" on hover) and "Menu icon", with the latter meaning the hamburger icon.

It's really nice to have that option. I set it to "Menu icon". Would indeed be great if Opera had it too, but with an addition "No icon" option to solve your case.

Hello its me again any new progress and propositions ?
i tested Tab sidebar and Vertical tabs extension but they dont match my objectives .
any1 got any ideas ? rlly need that 2 rows of tabs and they need be accesible with 1 click and on 1 screen So No scrolling thing .

@ceedee also give a way of saving a bookmark with vpn turned on
so when a bookmark is activated the vpn is enabled for that site
