It seems that Opera's developers are trying to become the most "hateful" browser possible (too many users on Opera?), FVD Speed Dial no longer has the right to work properly, now this choice for extension icons that is really annoying when they are no longer displayed on the top of the page.

Opera's choices have been really disappointing lately, I always wanted to come back to Opera, but I think now I'll be able to forget that idea...

Too bad, it was an excellent browser though, decisions, as usual it's trying to get a community that we don't listen to, I hope this will be heard by the devs, but as "listening" doesn't exist anymore in 2020...

Agree. As Opera is based on Chrome and FVD works fine on Chrome surely Opera can manage to get it to work, too.

Indeed, when I'm in front of twitch and see youtube (I did not check for the latter) the consumption of the latter is really high and extremely unstable, while yet, we are supposed to be able to regulate the CPU / RAM consumption and frankly from my experience, it does not change much, while on Opera classic consumption is much less greedy and unstable than Opera GX, so I remain quite confused in understanding to know where to find the advantage supposedly "for the good of gamers" with this browser?

I left Opera because it doesn't want to support this kind of homepage anymore, so I'm making this petition to make it possible for us to do it again, I really want to come back to this browser I like it fast and fluid, but without this tool I won't come back.

Hello, please, could you remove this pop up animation that appears when Opera GX starts? I'm not sure if it's possible, but I'm sure it's a good idea. So yes, you're going to tell me "there's an option to disable this animation", so yes, but I don't know why, it always ends up coming back, I suspect the forced return of the animation after a possible update or discrete update.

Opera classic has no such animation and frankly it's no worse that way!!!

Is it normal that server changes made from the desktop application are not taken into account by the extension?

Hi, it would be really cool to be able to evolve the customization for the main browser page.

For the tiles here are some ideas:

• Have an option to adjust the percentage of translucency of the tiles.
• To have the possibility to change the image of the tiles by images to be customized from our computer.

Other things:

I don't know if I'm going to be clear, or even if it will be possible, but having the possibility (if possible) to remove the search bar on the home page for those who want to use the address bar as the main search bar. (personally, I find the search bar on the homepage too big and visually imposing).

Would it be possible for Opera to consider the same type of appearance for "Other Favourites"?

I find Opera's one very visually unpleasant, unlike Brave Browser which is more pleasant and better placed, isn't it possible to have the classic "3 Other Favourites" icon and ideally place it in the same way?

Another detail, I wouldn't mind being able to display all the parameters on a drop-down menu on the right, rather than just the personalisation access, I found it much more pleasant than going to the left to get it, to my great surprise.

The most frustrating part of this story is Opera's behaviour, with no contact intervention following the subject.

If I understand correctly this tip is just to allow to open FVD with the button + new tab? So, in the end, this tip is not really a tip, as there is the small icon of the FVD extension which allows you to display the page in the same way as a new tab.

Trying my best to move from Firefox back to Opera, won't do it if FVD Speed dial won't work, I truly dislike the Opera default speed dial. I have everything setup, but when I open a new tab, no speed dial shows up. I have tried it with the crappy Opera speed dial turned off and also on. No clue what I a missing.

Go Brave Browser is the same, there, extensions like FVD Speed Dial works fine !
