I also consider this a minor inconvenience. Snapshot is a really good tool and I am glad it is included in the Sidebar by default. Snapshot could only be improved if it had the one option of selecting the destination for saved captures. It is easy enough to select my default Downloads directory (which is on my secondary mechanical drive; I try not to use my C: drive for data since it is an SDD and SDDs do wear out faster than mechanical drives ever would; they only have so many write cycles to each bit.) Where to save is not a huge issue. At least they go to the desktop where I am reminded that I have to move any pictures I capture, rather than some obscure folder where I might forget them.
