@home-world You can add a search engine in the "other search engines" section, but, you cannot set the added search engine as default because when you click on the 3 vertical dots the only option is "remove" - there's no option to set the added search engine s default. That only works in the top section!!!!!

Opera finally updated itself (seemed a while since the last one) and jumped up a version to 74.0.3911.75

I tested it to see if I could trigger the flash message (VPN on / off) it did not appear. I also looked through the settings and could not see any mention of flash in there.

Hopefully that is the end of the annoyance.

@leocg Thank you for your reply. I did find an associated flag in opera://flags/#color-picker-eye-dropper, but it doesn't seem to work. Also, I saw that it was possible to have a color picker when I click on a color (if none is present, I create a rule) in the Style tab of the Element inspector .
It's not as "User friendly" as having it directly in the Element Inspector, but it gets the job done.

@realestnooby Google Assistant doesn't even exist on desktops OSs as far as I know.
Even if it was, Google Assistant would be a program that you would need to download and install.

Not bad suggestion.
I'd suggest to allow using the workspaces icons range.

Taking into account that recently there were changes regarding the workspaces icons [DNA-90862 change workspaces model to allow choosing an emoji (character) as custom icon] I'd suggest also the same for bookmarks bar folders.
