New York Times videos work fine for me; I'm using the latest Opera developer for Linux.
from the home page they work in the latest developer, we already know that,
btw can you confirm that videos don't work when you try to play them from the video section?

Tried installing ppapi flash and unchecking npapi flash and it seems to work nicely now, thanks!
ppapi flash download: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer.html
to disable npapi go to opera:plugins and click on show details, then unable that one
I had full-screen frame drops on Twitch; about 5 fps. This fixes it. Thanks.
In the long run NPAPI support will be pulled from Chromium. Some time after that we will likely follow suit in all platforms. So while NPAPI support exists for now on Windows and Mac don't expect it to remain in the long term.
I also had a problem with all PDF's being blank. I then disabled Foxit Reader in opera://plugins and they now show up using the built-in viewer. I'm not sure which version this started with, but I believe it was the one where the new built-in viewer was introduced.
I have the same issue with opera 27.0.1670.0. It doesn't recognize the silverlight plugin. It works on opera 25 stable without issue though. I have windows 8.1 64bit therefore also the 64bit version of silverlight and until the last version of 26 was able to watch movies on netflix etc. without issues.
I'd like to tell you that I use Xmarks in Opera 25 and the browser found my bookmarks from Xmarks (I guess... from Xmarks...??) and put them in a folder named "Imported Bookmarks" I'd like to get a button to up in the tree to up my folders in the tab bookmarks from Speed Dial. And I´d like to get an option to fix the list-view of bookmarks because it is much rapid to see my bookmarks.
