I self solved it using several adddons anywhay I think security needs to be improved.

Разобрался, все же.
Не "подхватываются" установленные расширения. Opera "падает" и автоматически восстанавливается на секунду-две, два раза, потом падает окончательно.
Пришлось поймать на втором восстановлении ссылку на расширения, удалить все, и заново установить.
Так и быть, оставлю пока).

At home, in one of the Computers VPN works well, in mine don't, but needs a Refresh so it's not conclusive.
The router DNS are Alternate Dns if you want to try it.

I'm reasonably sure a simple js bookmarklet could do such a thing - but I don't know script.

Probably a bookmarklet is even lighter than the UserScript, so the UScript loads on every website.

Nope - Laptop is 43.xxx and is for 32 bit. Don't know why that matters. Desktop is previous version, 64 bit - Stable and should have a menu button, its just not displaying.

Some other software is running then - an email checker or similar. Opera itself doesn't do that. It doesn't even know I have a Google account (though as I also own an Android tablet I do have an account) and has never asked me for one. Or a tab is open to some page using Google services perhaps.

I've got the same problem. I'm using a dark theme on Peppermint 7 OS and I wish we could change the color of the font in the bookmarks bar.

Sadly I don't think the developers are up to the task...I've seen complaints and requests about this that were about one year old.

False alarm guys.

I tried to reload the site several times without cache enabled, but didn't know this wouldn't always disable the cache.

Now I cleared the entire browser cache and Jquery loads fine again.
No youtube video, "connection not private" message

From my experience, ronheron's solution is correct. Just had to also cp the manifest.json into /usr/lib/PepperFlash/ and it worked like a charm.
