  nope. Do not do what i did. do not force quit gpu process.
  Youtube thumbnails stopped loading, Google Docs stopped working, it became a nightmare. Eventually just reinstalled a clean version of Opera. Don't do what I did, just restart Opera like a normal person.

  @leocg I go there and right at top is a blue circle indicating, 'Sites can ask for your location'.

  Lower down in, Allowed to see your location: I see: 'https://www.google.com:443
  embedded on any host' is allowed.

  Google Maps shows me signed in but I cannot go into 2D or 3D functions like when using Chrome, Firefox or like Opera did in the past.

  @diezguinho Obvious suggestion - see if disabling the search pop-up fixes it. If it does, then you could try to figure out which part of the search pop-up causes it. (The pop-up itself, the AI prompts, etc.)

  @sorenfeodor Thank you for the responses. I will stick with my current OS Lubuntu 18.04 since the computer I am using is very old and only Lubuntu (The older versions of Lubuntu) is an operating system that is running perfectly on it. I will however try to install either the snap version or the flatpak version of Opera since both flatpak and snap is supported on my PC. 🙂
