Using opera 99.0.4788.31 May 23 on Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS with GNOME 42.5

Trying to locate where I can modify the window border. Looks to be 1 pixel and not easy to grab

I checked the forums and help but didn't see anything.

I'm test driving it and so far pretty nice.

When I shift-click to popout a message I am composing to desktop and outside Gmail window, I am unable to resize the popout, it is fixed.

Brave does it just fine as does Edge and Chrome.

And it would be nice not to have resize Opera opening startup window. It should save the last sizing and default to that.

Yes, that is bothersome but for purposes of focus I didn't mention it.

There is a lot to like in Opera for sure. Running linux I have actually been pleasantly surprised by Edge in fact. I stopped using Chrome a year ago and aside from infrequent test I never use it. Brave is nice as is Firefox for that matter. I use Brave by default.

I also am involved in lockdown browsers for self-service and self-order.

There is a huge opportunity for controlled, and accessible browser in corporate environment, and for consumer for that matter, especially given privacy, lack of adherence to stated policies, and malware.

Opera will be removed from consideration due to accessibility. Maybe they need more marketing and more user-oriented usability design.

Yes, corners are bad lottery ticket. I was hoping maybe gnome extension would repair but no luck. Maybe zooming browser view? You might think usability would be higher priority

Thought I would try Opera on my LinkedIn. Logged in ok but when it goes to main feed page it displays for a few seconds then crashes.

I went ahead and disabled everything I could in the sidebar (including the sidebar) and same result. I use version 99 from May 25, 2023
