@sumthinelz It's a great machine! Works absolutely fine, very user-serviceable, and runs all my work apps that I need without any issues… Just can't run Opera apparently? How a web browser can be more resource-intensive than professional music notation software I will never know.

@john50 Extensions are stored in the Extensions folder in Opera's profile directory. Check opera://about for the path.

Bookmarks folder closes when something new is added.

@maguffin They are probably in the extensions menu, the cube like icon in the top right.
Immediately runs up 60 GBs of RAM!

@stevenjcee You need to rename the current profile directory to force a new one to be created.

If things work with the new profile, you start moving folders and files from the old one to the new, one by one, until you find the one to blame.
Can private window be disabled?
