@wrogers12321 Opera has never given us the option to start up the browser in a private browsing window. I've never seen a response from Opera about this either. Would be nice if it could though.

I can hear a CRACKLE sound when starting Opera, but not everytime I open the app. But for sure the first time of each day, happens.

How are you trying to watch the video- Normal Flash, HTML5, or Mobile?

HTML5 on desktop, i've tried flash but doesn't work unless i change the user agent to safari.

Suddenly MY Facebook won't work at all! I just recently upgrated my PC to Windows 10, and Facebook works fine on "Edge," but won't give me ANYTHING when I try to log into FB. Except for the "banner"/header stuff, nothing works... not search, nothing. It was working just FINE yesterday (I had Opera 32 stable installed). I rebooted my system to see if that might fix it... nothing. I even downloaded Opera 34 stable just a bit ago, and still NO FB. What the heck?

Hi again,

I updated Opera to the latest stable release (34.0.2036.25) but the passwords are not yet visible.

It seems that Opera cannot access to Keychain anymore, since all the passwords are still there (and the Opera.app is allowed to access to all the keychain entries - in "Access control" tab).

Any suggestion how to re-allow Opera to access to the Keychain entries (OSX 10.11.2)? I have searched a lot with no success.

Hi @avl - I use Opera -> Quit Opera. Unfortunately, sometimes it just hangs there or some process (maybe plugin) keeps it running in background. If it takes more than 30 seconds to close it, I know I'll loose the session.
Can I get a copy of Opera 29 for Mac... Corrupt Session file...

Opera Mail is the best alternative for Apple Mail. The main reason: it is the only mail app that does not make an absolute mess of the directories on the mail server when using IMAP.

Maybe you should wait, all Effort are focused in Opera Browser.. Just sit and relax 🙂

More than a year later I could not agree more. Often I have to wade through more than 1.5 pages of "paid advertisers" at the top of Google search page - WHICH HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH SEARCH REQUEST - and then I get "nonsensical" hits" where for example Google shows a hit for an on-line business, like "see real estate in the northern Quebec province on Amazon, connecting something I'm searching for with an unconnected advertiser of Google's. Google you were a great improvement over Alta Vista but you're starting to look like Alta Vista in my rear view mirror!

Same problem, crash loop, continuous crash and restart and crash and restart. It started after I logged in to opera account trying to synchronise bookmarks. Log off and it works again, However on a different computers it works just fine.

I have to be honest, I did not do a very scientific measurement.
What I did was open the exact same websites on Safari, Chrome and Opera. I kept all windows visible and opened Activity Monitor and looked at the current consumption values. The differences there are indeed significant.
Then I minimized all of them, as they tend to go into "low power" mode when minimized and also there I noticed differences.
I have no problem in doing the same test and post here pictures to show you what I saw.

Could it be that Chrome has some flags enabled that might influence this and Opera not?

Back again. My second post above turned out to be false. It has nothing to do with Safari. There is something else going on. When I reinstall Opera it works properly for a few days, ie when I click on a link it opens in Opera full-screen. After a few days when I click on a link in an email, the desktop appears. The link HAS opened in Opera but I have to navigate to Opera. This may sound like a detail but when it happens each time you click on a link, hundreds of times a day, it gets old. Can anyone help here? Are there others who have experienced this? GL
