Opera quit playing all videos. I said it quit playing videos.

Hello all. I am new here. My system is Apple iMac A1224 with Mavericks. I have been using Opera 34. Yesterday it suddenly quit playing videos. After several attempts with routine maintenance I downloaded Opera 35 and it still will not play videos. Any ideas or suggestions?
