You might try an Opera extension like MoreGestures https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/moregestures/?display=en

MoreGestures performs link-drag and mousewheel gestures similar to those in Opera 12. These gestures open links in new tabs, navigate between tabs, and shows link text.
Currently supported gestures:
Mouse Wheel
RightClick+Scroll Up
RightClick+Scroll Down
Link Drags
RightClick+Drag Up
RightClick+Drag Down
RightClick+Hold

Also Smooth Gestures for Chrome is popular, and might help if MoreGestures isn't good for you.

To download a Chrome extension easily, you need the Opera extension, called Download Chrome Extension, https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/download-chrome-extension-9/?display=en

or Extension Source Viewer, https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/extension-source-viewer/

You can always easily uninstall an extension if it doesn't have what you want.

Hi @sporadic43, you can remap it as follows: close the Opera, go to the Opera profile directory (find the path in O-Menu > About Opera > Paths > Profile), open the "Preferences" file in your text editor, and change the first 10 lines as below:
`{ "Keybindings": { "Basic": { "AddBlankTab": [ "Ctrl+N" ], "OpenWindow": [ "Ctrl+T" ] }, "Settings": { "AdvancedEnabled": true } },`
Save the changes, close the file, and reopen the Opera \m/ :cheers:

Thank you. That actually led to the solution for my problem. It was Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit that kept the speed dial from loading. I disabled it's protection and now Opera loads just fine. I had forgotten about it running.

I don't believe Opera is listed specifically as one of the compatible browsers for Norton Safe Web... they list Chrome, IE, and Firefox (and Safari on some links). You might want to contact Norton support directly about it.

As I mentioned in my opening post, I did change the country code in the .json files.
Weird that it should work, apparently. I'll see if isn't something else on my end.

Same problem here, I love Opera (even after the restart with Next 😉 and use version 23.0, but even the simple client authentication example here will not work.
Wheras the same with Chromium, Firefox and Safari works...

The Opera 23 browser is like the Opera 21 browser for purposes of playing the game. So it sounds like the thing to do is download Opera 12.17.
