Install this User-agent switcher extension, set it to Chrome for Windows, click the edit button (the pencil icon) and set the user-agent string to:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/120.0.0.0 Safari/537.36
to pretend to be Chrome. Then, the audio will work.

Don't remember if that build was stable or not. You can try a test standalone installation of that build to see if it crashes too.

You can look at all the crash fixes after that build at https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/changelog-for-96/ and in newer change logs.
Pinned tabs are too small

This is still an issue. It happens regularly that I want to switch to pinned tab, but when I click on it, instead of switching to it, Opera mutes the sound of the tab because there is a running podcast/music on it. #UX

I'd also like to know where we should see a horizontal scroll bar. The page doesn't show one in Chrome even if the window is shrunk down as small as it will go.

The page looks the same in Chrome and Opera to me as far as I can tell. Could you be more specific?
