Stable version 99.x has been released and published. It removes all reported problems from version 98.x (including lack of subtitles in speed dial directories and inactive right-click menu in the Google search bar). Way To Go! 👌🏼 👍🏼

Tried all 3 and still had the same issue.

I created a new account and logged in and set to sync and it worked flawlessly, for some reason I cant sync to this account.

Regular Opera has a fix for this issue. See DNA-107508 at https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/changelog-for-98/. Opera GX just hasn't gotten the fix, but will soon.

I often had this with Vivaldi browser. It seems to be a problem with resolving of DNS.
But troubleshooting could be to shut down your internet router and start it again after a one minute wait.
