Thanks Leo and Rilef. Rilef was right to chastise me though, I had spent a lot of time searching yesterday for various issues, and thought i would have come across a thread for Maps if there was one, since I had read a number of other keyword search related threads, but I had missed that one, and I had never specifically searched for Google Maps.

The original query string I have in 12 matches the string posted here, but the string I had in 18 didn't match. I recreated it and the search works now. Thank you for the help.

I'm using Opera 18.

I guess I'll report it to all the adblockers then since neither of them blocks it.

But what makes me wonder is why the 'block all popups'-function fails to block it?

Edit: Anyway, solved it by disabling javascript for the concerned sites.
Opera 18, Some website you cannot press BACK.

Well, after a quick search there apparently is a Chromium (and therefor Opium) bug: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=178380
May be connected with Adblock Plus (do you use that?) and may be worked around with a "cache killer" extension (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cache-killer/jpfbieopdmepaolggioebjmedmclkbap).

That's only to search for the topic, which is what I did that led me here. Where is this QAB you keep talking about? And if really will hold thousands of bookmarks, in an easily accessible manner, then why the hell don't they just have bookmarks, like every browser does? This is so absurd and self-destructive, as it's only going to drive many who wish to use Opera, away....

Yup, I'm not sure what happened but I can confirm that the spreadsheets are now working ok again in Opera 12.16.

There are bookmarks, bookmarks bars, and bookmarks managers. What you are asking for seems to be a bookmarks manager, a tool many of us eagerly await, and which Opera has indictated they are still working on, following their earlier conversion of the browser to the Blink rendering engine. Some of the bookmark folder manipulation you seek may be possible within Opera's present QAB/Bookmarks functionality, but others will have to come along and explain how/if. However, the lack of a versatile bookmarks manager is one of several reasons some users like myself have refrained from switching to New Opera. Yet.

Some (but not all) users have reported problems with 12.1x 64-bit Opera's stability and such, but not with Opera 32-bit versions... perhaps this is something similar. Those reported 64-bit "issues" are the reason I've remained with 32-bit Opera on my own 64-bit Win7 installation. Often times when something like this occurs, it's some kind of obscure driver-conflict issue that varies from system to system or software suite to software suite. In any case, you can assume that 12.1x will not be updated to intentionally fix this or any other performance bug-like behavior... from here on out, Presto Opera is only being security patched if needed.

Thanks for the reply. I was afraid of that. For now, I'll use an earlier edition of Opera (v. 12) for cache viewing and may need to look into the other solution you linked to when that browser begins to fail.

Not quite true. A theme can contain two different images — one for the speed dial, and another for settings pages, plus you can define the text colour, and positioning of the image. They are working on some improvements to Themes, but Real Skins are what I need, like we have for Opera 12 or earlier.

Hi,

Any chance to see this problem fixed. I have tested all versions since Opera 15 (now running last v18) and I'm still unable to connect to any site (unable to open the page) requiring a certificate with attributes matching one of my certificates. It has been working fine until 12.x.

Chromium seems to have the switch --allow-file-access-from-files. Maybe it'll work in Opera/Blink.
