I found out why probably they transferred the navigation bar to the bottom of the page in Opera 29 dev. It is about their new "extension sidebar" that if you enable it is located on the left

So and so excuse.

They could at least have left it in the original position, in the top, where the other elements of the UI (tab bar, address...) are nearer so it's easier accessible.

And thats the point. If you have search and adress bar combinated in one, browser dont know if you want to get suggested site or you just want to search that word. Can you finaly see the difference?

And what is the problem? Opera will always (try to) autocomplete the address but you can hit the delete key to remove the autocompleted part or use the drop-down list to search a word.

I've noticed a pretty large slow-down the last couple days too and a lot of Flash problems. Checking Windows Task Manager I see a lot of memory being dedicated to Opera.exe, dpi settings, disable direct npapi requests, enable deferred image decoding. I know NPAPI is becoming less and less supported and PPAPI being the way to go, I sort of suspect this has something to do with it. 454,000K is being dedicated to these various "disable NPAPI requests" processes, that strikes me as a touch extreme.

I find a temporary solution, if this extension let you to save chrome extension in order to install you have to go into Extensions in your Opera and drag and drop extension

The files might've got corrupted or moved.
Or your previous and current installations don't fall under the same user rights. The former one might've been under the common share, now it might be under a certain Windows account, or like that... You make sure where they are.

I understood that the changes are made through the heart menu interface. I just don't get one thing - HOW do I do it? So, I click the heart button, and it takes me to a thumbnail list of bookmarks. I click the pen button on one of them, and that lets me change the adress and the description of the bookmark. But where is the button that switches the design of the bookmark tile? I don't see it! Please show.

Note that, as said, this feature only works from Opera 29.

Open an already bookmarked page and click on the heart button at the right of the address bar. Click on the arrows to select a different image.
