When you click on the extension cube icon, you should see a pin icon next to each extension where you can pin the extensions you want to the address bar so you don't have to go through the cube icon.

Fair enough and I think you're right but when using Opera, my CPU frequently jumps to 100% and my computer freezes (including the mouse cursor) for approx 30 seconds. When I open Task Manager, I see that CPU has pegged high. I even get an occasional crash. My solution is to use Opera GX for now, it's not having any of these problems.

ok we're getting idea, point causing:

it has one on the bar at top which the icon is shown when the "show bar" is on

it has one on the bar not shown ie. following any icon on the bar at top which is not shown

so must remove the latter.... then SOLVED!
Can a tab be set up to appear on all workspaces?

There's no email list. If you are talking about the forum notifications, you can disable it in your forum settings.

I've had this same problem for years as well, across multiple Thinkpads. It's now habit to hit escape whenever it happens and it knocks it back to the regular pointer.

@burnout426 Thanks. Figured it out earlier this AM. I was printing to Adobe Acrobat instead of Save as PDF. Issue resolved thankfully. Thank you and to others who replied.
