I don't think it's a issue. Just because you can do it in other programs, doesn't mean that this is a issue.

Even if it was a issue, it wouldn't be a important one.

By "email browser" you mean Opera Mail? Or a webmail opened in Opera?

And what you mean by "picks the system time"? Which other time should be used?

That's why it's called "Technical Preview". It's not beta.

Yes, I'm aware of that. I'm merely saying with the amount of features they've implemented, they've given themselves a lot of work to do which will have an impact on the time needed to get to the stable stage. This however doesn't stop people posting on the Opera blogs saying Vivaldi will be properly up and running in no time.

Hi @i100min, for that purpose you can try the "Open in (background) tab" extension - after you install it, go to the Options page, and untick the checkbox on the left of "Open [in current tab]", and tick the checkbox on the left of "Open in new tab", and then click on the "Save" button.

The + and - keys also control zoom. In addition theres a zoom control in the Opera menu, but thats a click or two to get adjust.

Go to the Opera menu and open a 'New private window'. Go to that URL in the private window and see if it works. If it does, its one of your extensions that is blocking it. Things like Adblock Plus, Disconnect, etc will probably be the source of the blocking.

One idea I used a bit back is to go into settings and disable it from downloading graphics

Depends what type of sit you visit but if it is mainly text it fine

This may be a Windows problem. I have Vista. Opera is brand new for me so no, updating won't help, since I just got it. I switched away from Firefox because I suddenly developed this problem and support was so poor. Now I'm having the same problem on Opera.
