This may be a Windows problem. I have Vista. Opera is brand new for me so no, updating won't help, since I just got it. I switched away from Firefox because I suddenly developed this problem and support was so poor. Now I'm having the same problem on Opera.

Fonts look strange in outgoing email when using OperaOpera for Windows
When typing into a box (as I am doing now, or as I am doing when I type outgoing email) when using Opera (or Firefox), the font looks like a typewriter ribbon that doesn't have enough ink.
I can go to IE and do the exact same activity and the font looks fine. The biggest problem with this is, the font is so faint I can't really tell whether I've typed a capital letter or a lower case one. If I could upload a screen shot, I could show you what I mean.
Interestingly, when I view the Preview box, everything looks fine and normal. It's only when I'm in the middle of typing (is this a javascript problem?) that it looks weird.
How do I fix this? Thanks.
