Why don't article writers answer user questions / help with their struggles? Does Opera not care about their users?
As "Ctrl + /" shortcut doesn't work for us (as @ironbone helped it's "Ctrl + Shift + 7" instead), I'd like this feature be available without shortcut too. Shortcut should just be that - short (quick) way of using a feature. How can we access this feature by navigating UI?
Page Context Mode doesn't work for me too (Opera GX 109.0.5097.70). Again, why are you hiding this feature behind a shortcut? Why there is no button in the UI for it?

@david27 I already used it at home. At work I'm still in the waiting list Download latest version and enable Early Bird in the settings

Updated and it started working. It knows Portuguese, just start typing in Portuguese and it will follow

@david27, haha, wanted to check if Aria knows Portuguese in Opera Mobile (because I think it worked in Russian), but Aria doesn't even work today for me (Says there was an error generating the response)

@david27, I was hoping I wouldn't need Bing Chat anymore when we'll have Aria in Opera GX.

I tried what people suggested in another thread about issues on Opera Touch, but it didn't help. I have Lenovo YT3-850L with Android 6.0.1. Used latest Opera for Android and get the following error message:

Failed to connect
Connection declined on your other device.

Because of that I have to send links through Messenger on my PC and get them through Facebook Lite on my Tablet

I have the same issue, BTW, I'm using Opera GX and I don't remember the times opera://about/ or opera://update/ worked for me
The other day I was annoyed by this issue again (that Checking for updates… never produces any results), I was on opera://update/ page and noticed Something doesn't work? Let us know here. message. I was happy that Opera upgraded their Bug Reporting service, but upset that after reporting this issue the QA just closed it without any message
Currently to update the browser I'm running OperaGXSetup.exe, which automatically downloads latest version, but it's annoying that I need to manually check if the new version is out. BTW, I subscribed to this thread to get some updates.
Somebody said here that we need to make sure that opera_autoupdate.exe is present in our used version folder, well here's what running this application tells me:

Anyone understands these errors?

@leocg Thanks, version .434 fixed the issue, but opera://update didn't work for me, I don't remember when it has worked actually. Opera just downloads latest version sometime after it is released (not on the same day), marks O icon with an update is downloaded and I need to restart the browser. But whenever I go to opera://update it just constantly checks for updates, but there is no progress bar or anything, and it never finishes.
So I had to download latest version from Download page to fix GMail issue. Using GX by the way.

Hi, I'm on Opera GX LVL 2 (core: 68.0.3618.206) and have the same issue.

Please add an option to hide close button on each tab.
This option was present in Opera 12, I don't know why it still isn't in the lastest Chromium based version.

A user suggested it already in 2015, so why it still isn't brought back?
Why we (at least some of us) need it:

• MMB already closes the tab
• some people click on the X (close button) accidentally, which causes frustration
• I know that it hides itself automatically if there are too many tabs opened, but still why not give an option to hide it all the time?
• it clutters the tab title
• there is demand for this feature: How to remove tab close button?, How do you remove the close button on each tab?, Is it possible to hide close buttons on tabs?

I tried changing the options, but didn't notice any difference on GX Corner or Speed Dial.
So what is it? Couldn't find any explanation on this anywhere.
