@ralf-brinkmann said in Opera 110.0.5117.0 developer update:
This new Windows version 110.0.5120.60797 Developer doesn't show me the number of new messages in the WhatsApp tab icon anymore.
W11x64, Operax64Meanwhile I think there is a problem with the web version of WhatsApp (https://web.whatsapp.com/), because other browsers also don't show the number of new messages anymore in the tab icon and there are some more problems, like sometimes messages are not send to the recipient and so on. I think I have to use the Windows App version.

@simcard78, with this version I don't have this ARIA-box problem in the address bar anymore.

The unwanted ARIA box still appears to the right of the address field after a restart and must be eliminated by switching it on and off again in the settings.

@burnout426, I switched it on now and then off again. Now it's gone.

Now the ARIA box always appears in the address bar, even though I turned off everything about AI in the settings.

RE: Opera 110 developerBlogs
WhatsApp (Web version) just wanted to ask me, if I agree to receive notifications on the screen. In this popup box I could not see the allow button, only the cancel button. Seems to be the same problem.

RE: Opera 110 developerBlogs
@simcard78, did you press CTRL-SHIFT-7? That should call Aria. I have disabled it in the settings.

RE: Opera 110 developerBlogs
@andrew84, ok, now I understand! It was my fault. There is no box around the "Add extension", so I thought I have to allow it by clicking into the empty box. But that caused to cancel the process.
I don't install new extensions every day. -
RE: Opera 110 developerBlogs
I have again problems with adding extensions from the chrome webstore. Can somebody please try to add this extension to Opera: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/hive-ai-detector/cmeikcgfecnhojcbfapbmpbjgllklcbi.
Here on my computer the display always switches between "Add" and "This extension is not from the Opera Addons store … Add extension" and the box for "Add extension" is empty.

@parduspars, do you use any blocking extensions like uBlock Origin and uMatrix? Maybe you must unlock some restrictions for these videos.

In this new update all my search engines and shortcuts stay there. I'm happy this problem was solved.

Still the same behavior as since the initial release of Opera 109.x:
After installing the update and starting it automatically, all search engines are gone from the settings menu. Only after restarting Opera do the standard search engines appear again, but the search engine entries I created remain disappeared and the corresponding keyboard shortcuts do not work.
In addition, this time after installation uBlock Origin stopped working and displayed a yellow warning triangle with an exclamation mark. Only after the restart did it behave normally again.
After three weeks and three versions of Opera 109.x, I get the impression that Opera doesn't care whether everything works like it used to for me or other users or not. Should I just create all of my search engine entries again!
