Maybe it's worth trying to disable 'redesigned' flag and check.
Tried that. It didn't help.

Same problem today:
I wanted to search for a product in the REWE shop on Google. When starting to type REWE with capital letters Opera crashed.

CRASH!
I opened a new Tab (CTRL-T) and wanted to open the page www.rmv.de (is in my bookmarks and in the speed dials). I started typing RMV in capital letters by mistake and Opera crashed after the first letter. I could repeat this another time. If I typed the name in lowercase, everything was fine.

** I forgot one thing:
I meant in the Windows taskbar. So, the communication between Opera and Windows seems to be somehow disrupted.
And one more thing:
This version of Opera shows me 7 unread news in the Facebook tab, but there are no unread news. Back to Opera 121.0.5593.0 Developer the problem is solved.
I noticed something else strange:
When I open the list of recently closed pages, I used to be able to click on an entry in the list with the mouse and the page would open right there. This doesn't work now. The page doesn't open, and I land on the first open tab. However, if I move the blue highlight bar up to the desired entry with the keyboard and press ENTER, the page opens.

Okay, I'm the exception. I have Opera installed as standalone version and I updated with the normal Opera_Developer_121.0.5600.0_Setup_x64.exe without problems.
it's from Opera addons and I use it for years now.
today I had another chance to properly test the issue (I don't get a delivery from Amazon every day :))). Unfortunately, I discovered that uMatrix was the culprit. In my previous tests, I had always disabled uBlock Origin and uMatrix within the extension itself using the switch there and noticed no change in behavior. Today, I systematically deactivated one extension after another in the extension manager (opera://extensions/). It seems that uMatrix is no longer compatible with Opera, or that it may have negative side effects.
I'm still having the same problem as last time I mentioned this: I can't see a map on Amazon's website when a package is delivered. It used to work perfectly, and it works in all other browsers as well. I've tried disabling all ad blockers completely and allowing pop-ups and almost everything else in the website settings. Nothing changes. So, what's the correct setting so I can see a map here again?
