@fitzydj Thank you. After restarting the computer the issue is gone. Very strange
Edit, even after restarting the issue is definitely there.

Latest version 133.0.5932.24 closes the tabs when you click the tab next to it
Whenever I click on a tab the tab next to it closes. Not every time but almost every time
Edit: I just downgraded to 133.0.5932.20 and the same problem is present
I restarted the computer and it works. It seems the issue was local on my pc, as I hadn't restarted in some time. Now works perfectly!
Hello, I just updated to the latest version today.
The bug is when i go to passwords and click a webpage to retrive my saved password, normally Opera will ask for my passcode to give me the password, now when I click on the webpage the Opera doesn't show anything and it blocks, I can not go to another page, it is stuck on that page. The browser isn't frozen as I can change the zoom on the page but nothing else.
Thank you very much, I updated to 129.0.5823.15 and indeed it is fixed.

r, than befor
Same here, tabs are jumping around when I click on them
This was an issue few versions ago. Now it is back again. Version I have is 128.0.5807.52 and every time I click on a tab the tab gets dragged 2 spaces to the right. It is very annoying.
Problem is fixed in the newest version. Thank you!
@leocg I am using version 122 with OPENGL for the moment waiting for the fix in the latest versions.
If I change to DRD11 the latest version works but lags way too much
No fix for the moment, any way to know when it will be fixed?
I am using the version 122 with OPENGL because the versions 123 and 124 won't work with OPENGL and they lag too much under DRD11
So waiting on an update. I have to reinstall the 122 version every time I close Opera as it runs the update by itself every time
Opera One.
The last version where the OPENGL config works perfectly is 122.0.5643.92
The 2 versions after that have the same problem
And another note, after 30 minutes of working on Opera I just realized why I had switched to OPENGL instead of the DRD11.
OPENGL is much more smooth and better, DRD11 lags quite a bit.
Hope this will be addressed in the next update?
OK I found the problem.
After I reverted to the 122 version, I changed the angle flag from OPENGL to DRD11 and now it works fine in the updated version.
Well this is unexpected. I just updated the browser this morning only to come back like this:
I can see that I can navigate through the sites by pressing my hotkeys and I can open the menu by pressing alt on the keyboard but once I click on update or settings the screen stays the same. Completely white and blank.
I downloaded again Opera and reinstalled it, same thing.
Very frustrating.
I went on the ftp archive and got Opera_122.0.5643.92_Setup_x64 and reinstalled it, works perfectly
Anybody knows what the issue is?
After 1 hour of testing, just to add, the problem is largely solved but not 100%. It is not as evident as before but there are still some hickups when I post a message or enter a search query. As soon as I send something towards 1 webpage, Opera lags, it just keeps trying. On Chrome the same webpage works fine.
@leocg said in Huge issues with webpages lagging when I open, click or submit:
opera://flags/#use-angle
It was on "Default (UNDEFINED) now I switched it to OpenGL and there is a huge difference! Almost all webpage work super fast, there is still one webpage that is proving a bit more difficult, everything works fast except when I put a query on the search bar and press search, it takes a while. On Chrome it does not take so long.
Should I leave it on OpenGL or shall I put it on the Windows recommended D3D11 ?
Anything else I should tweak?
Thank you so much
"Use graphics acceleration when available" is ON

@ngocevski Any difference if you use a private window?
I just tried and it is exactly the same, no improvement
